Powertrains to Give you a Great Drive from Hyundai
The power you’ll experience is separated by trim. The base and premium models of the Hyundai Veloster use a 2.0-liter engine mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission to give you 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. The Turbo R-Spec model uses a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with these same transmissions to give you 201 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. The Turbo and Turbo Ultimate trims make use of a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for the drive. The Veloster N is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission to give you 250 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque which can be increased with the Performance Package to 275 horsepower for the drive.
