While you might onto consider yourself a nerd just because you love the James Bond movies, but one of the vehicles from the movie is available for you to purchase and that makes it perfect to the rich nerd who wants to collect some amazing vehicles that were present in a movie they’ve loved. The most recent James Bond movie was Spectre and it featured a ton of great vehicles, two of which were made only for the movie and aren’t for sale, the Aston Martin DB10 and the Jaguar C-X75, but there is one vehicle you can buy and it was driven by the villains.
Sometimes we focus so much on what James is driving that we forget the bad guys have some awesome rides as well. The one vehicle that you can purchase and add to your high priced collection is the Land Rover Defender that was driven by the villains in the movie. There is one company in London, Tweaked Automotive that will build you this model and fit all the equipment you saw in the movie on the vehicle, minus the guns. This could be the perfect vehicle for you to ride around town and even take off roading, but as a collectible it most likely will sit in your showroom for you to brag about.
Not only will this Defender appear to look the same as the version from the movie but everything will work on the truck. This Defender will come completely blacked out and offer the wider fenders, 16-inch beadlock wheels, and a roof rack, light bar, brush guard winch and headlight and taillight guards. Under the hood you’ll see a four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that is mate to a six-speed manual transmission that will give you the power you want and ride on either a 90 or 110 inch wheelbase.
The beauty of this Defender isn’t that it’s just a movie replica with nothing that works, this massive SUV is one that will have everything functioning to make it a great vehicle to take off road and enjoy in the outdoors if you want to do that. This Defender is tough and rugged, but as a movie replica it’s one that will most likely come at a price that will make any nerd want to wrap it up in the original packaging and keep it perfect to protect the value of the truck.
Unfortunately this Defender won’t be able to be purchased in the US because the Defender that’s on sale by Land Rover right now isn’t available to us either. Even with that said, this is a vehicle that will pique the imagination and make you envision yourself firing guns at James Bond and his cohorts as you try to get away from them and unleash your diabolical plan.
