This makes a loaded MKZ less expensive than a loaded BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class or Audi A4.

This great performer is attached to a six-speed automatic transmission and brings in 22 city/33 hwy mpg in FWD with the AWD showing up at 22 city/31 hwy mpg.
The hybrid power plant is a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine with a permanent magnet AC synchronous motor. This setup gives a 188 horsepower net and 129 lb.-ft. of torque for the entire system. This engine is attached to a continuously variable transmission and gives a fantastic fuel mileage at 41 city/39 hwy mpg making a great jump for the fuel in a luxury sedan. Sadly this powertrain does not offer an AWD model at all.
At the top of the power tree for the MKZ is a 3.7-liter V6 that offers 300 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torque. This top performer is mated up with a six-speed automatic transmission which brings in fuel numbers of 18 city/27 hwy mpg for the FWD model and 17 city/24 hwy mpg for the AWD version.
Overall the MKZ for this new model year is basically the same as the previous year. Not messing with a good thing, the interior of the MKZ shows up with outstanding materials including a variety of textures and design elements. The MyLincoln Touch controls are easy once you learn what each one is for which allows the cockpit to be laid out in simpler style.
